VANCOUVER, CANADA, May 24, 2000 LEADING BRANDS, INC. (NASDAQ:LBIX), Canada's largest independent, fully integrated brand management company, is pleased to announce that Gerry Kenyon has been appointed Senior Vice-President and General Manager of Retail Operations for its subsidiary,, Inc. With more than 30 years retail grocery experience, Mr. Kenyon is the former chief executive of a large retail grocery chain, with annual sales of more than $500 million US.
